ARI GOLDBLOOM-HELZNER
Music Director/Pianist/Copyist
Ari is an experienced music director, music assistant, piano accompanist, arranger, copyist, and vocal coach. As a classical, jazz, and music theater pianist for over 18 years, he has developed a skill in accompanying singers, developing arrangements, and supporting productions from the rehearsal room, the keyboard, and the podium. His work has spanned collaborations with legendary Tony award-winning director/choreographer George Faison to educational work as an MD and pianist for Pace University and other NYC schools. His strong attention to detail and collaborative nature allows him to effectively support the music department and solve problems that arise. He's very comfortable with music technology software like Finale, Sibelius, Logic, and Mainstage.
